Tuckpointing in Greater Cincinnati

Olde World Masons does tuckpointing and failed-joint repairs in Greater Cincinnati, Southern Ohio, Southeast Indiana and Northern Kentucky. A good tuckpointing repair should sit well within the wall and appear seamless from 10 to 20 feet. Up close a repair can sometimes still be a bit visible.

Tuckpointing repairs is the process by which you clean out old, damaged mortar joints and install a fresh pointing mortar tucked into the joint. It is then tooled to match the original masonry tooling.

Tuckpointing is a lot like crack repair because we are usually repairing small areas with-in a wall system.

This is not whole house or building restoration but small repairs designed to maintain the buildings structure.

Michael Olding has been doing these repairs since 1979. Text him with your photos. He will look at the job in person and then emails a PDF estimate to you – usually in 1 to 7 days.
